Summer, oh summer

As per usual, the summer slips away with barely a post. I suppose there are many better things to be doing than sitting in front of the computer? Nevertheless, we have been very neglectful of posting, yet our summer was full of adventure! We moved back to Corvallis and spent weeks sprucing up our new house while raising chicks and keeping a kitty content, Jamie's MPH graduation was held in June and her family came out to celebrate and enjoy sight-seeing in Oregon, we spent a week in Austin, Texas visiting Dave's side of the family, we celebrated three years of marriage, Dave climbed Mt. Rainier and saw a bear up close and personal, Jamie's best friend, Natalie, returned from the Peace Corps and spent two marvelous weeks visiting us, we spent a weekend in Hood River with friends and rafted (in tubes!) down Washington's Klickitak River, Jamie went to Colorado for her grandma's birthday and got to see the entire Nelson clan and then drove cross-country with her mother to move Jessica's things to Oregon, Jessica moved to Oregon, Rick and Lori visited, and we spent a marvelous weekend climbing in Southern Oregon with friends. We also finally got to meet the famous Jack. And don't forget time with friends, the coast, hiking, mountain biking, delicious vegetables, apple-picking and applesauce making, and Oregon's famous berry season. To top it all off, we gained a new nephew, Ezra. Time certainly does fly!
